We're BACK and Remember When?

Internet's been down for a few days...I'm officially an addict. I nearly went to the library to check e-mail and blogs. Sooooo glad to be back! Christina...I did see the tag...I'm working on it ;)

My friend Shalene started this and I thought it would be fun. Hope you'll play along :D

1. As a comment on my blog, leave 1 memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, if it is recent or years old, silly or serious--anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

Remember when you just moved into our ward and I don't know what made me do it, but I showed up to your house, of course uninvited. LOL... your were trying to be a good hostess and the boys were being boys, but I knew then we would be friends, because we both know that a perfect house is a sign of crazy person..LOL!! Also that stuff will all be there when they are gone, but the memories we make with them NOW will be the things we treasure.

LOVE YOU!!!

Oh my gosh! So many flooding memories from my childhood....
One of my first memories that came to mind was you speaking at your dad's funeral.
I remember hearing your words and being so moved by you and amazed by your strength.
:) debi

ps I will post this on my blog for Monday evening.

Hey Shelice, memories of you in general include a great big smile and love and compassion. You are a lovable person. I also remember fondly scout night each week- you were an exceptional leader, Gary's 40th birthday, and your strength and composure during the most difficult time in your life.

One of the first times I met you was when we talked about Boca Raton!

It was so fun to meet someone who knew where and what I was talking about in FL!

Yeah, I know the feeling of overwhelmance! OK, maybe that is so not a word. Oh well! Do the random things at random or not at all!

Hhhhmmm, how on earth do I pick my favorite Shelice moment?! There are sooo-o many! I truly love them all! Crops, creative memories parties, Primary... OK, I will go with blueberry picking at your house. What a fun time just to relax, talk and just have let your hair down. I know it was work, but picking blueberries is addictive and boy-oh-boy!! are your blueberries yummy!!! You truly are such a warm and open-minded person that people just gravitate towards. When you enter a room people are drawn to you and just want to talk with you, get to know you. Plus, the fact that you & Gary opened your hearts and home to 3 2-year-old-boys so lovingly and just jumped into being their parents endears you to everyone! They have turned out so well-adjust another testament to how well they are loved!

When we went to the beach for your birthday that one year. We left the house with scrapbooking supplies, clothes, cds, and no place to stay once we got there.

***I thought I posted that under me!

I remember this random time you were at our house adn I asked my dad to get me a drink but he was taking too long so I asked you to get me a drink, you both ending up handing me drinks at the same time.
I remember when you and Gary let me come stay for a night with you guys and Gary took me to a water park.
Lots of good memories....Lets make more!
One MOre I remember being the Gift taker at your wedding. I got my cast off my arm the morning before, and was so excited!
